Peter’s setting of one of the sonnets of George Santayana, “To W.P.” Composed at the Lehigh University Choral Composers Forum with Steven Sametz and Steven Stucky, composers in residence. The week-long forum allowed composers the freedom to dedicate their entire week to creating a brand new piece of music with the Princeton Singers as the choir in residence. This sonnet setting is the second of the 3 sonnets to be set by Peter.
