Composed for the Bell Choir of Christ Church UCC of Elizabethtown, PA in memory of a ringer, this original composition was written to feature the D5 and E5 bells. With gently lulling harmonies and a soaring melodic line, Threnody rejoices peacefully in the hope of eternal life. Written for 4-5 octaves with minimal parentheses, this piece is a wonderful addition to both worship services and concerts for a powerful moment of reflection.
