Setting of George Santayana’s sonnet, from the collection titled “To W.P.” This poem is carved on the AIDS memorial in Nova Scotia, where Peter first encountered the writings of Santayana. He has composed 3 of the 4 Sonnets in this collection. This one was the first, composed for the Choir of Pennsbury High School, Jim Moyer Conductor and Music Director.
